I was wondering why theres no information on moody road here on your site...I was looking for directions and stumbled across this site. My kids have been out there and I believe its not car lights they see.. I found this info if its worth posting, maybe someone can post it correctly for me..altho I have found several dif storys about what really happened...There also seems to be investigations by a & e and other shows as well. Location: Division Road and Meridian Road in either Francesville or Rensselaer (it's kind of in between the two towns) in Indiana. Directions: The easiest way to go there is to go South on Highway 49. Go until Highway 49 ends, it will be about 25 miles (from Valparaiso) or so depending where you get on. Once Highway 49 ends you will be at a stop sign turn west (right) onto Highway 14 and go for a mile. You will come to 100 W, turn south (left) on 100 W. Go for a mile until you come to Division Rd. Turn East (left) on Division Rd.. Go for a mile and you will come across Meridian Rd. If you look at Mapquest or any other type of internet map they show Meridian at a four way intersection. That's just an error because it's really only a three way intersection. Anyway that's the intersection your looking for. www.angelfire.com/theforce/haunted/moodyroad.htm

Moody Lane - A long time ago, two brothers were out for a ride in the horse and buggy. One of them fell out and lost his head. Decapitated, that is. Go north on Moody Lane at night, park before the âTâ of Meridian and Division and flash your lights three times. You will see a light scanning the fields. If the corn is up, you will see the search the rows, up one row, down the next and so on. If the corn is down, you will see the light scan over the fields. It is said to be the lantern of one other brother out searching for the head of his brother. I have heard of at least a dozen trips to Moody Lane that have resulted in people seeing the lights. Beware and be cool because the police know all about this tale and routinely patrol the area. Smith Graveyard - A graveyard near Moody Lane is where a man and a woman were killed on opposite sides of the road. And at midnight you supposedly can see the woman crossing the road to see her man. I wonder if they were buried on opposite sides of the road, going by its configuration
