I'm trying to find a haunted house in Rushville, IN. It actually burned down, I think somewhere between 2002-2004.'
I know I'm supposed to introduce myself, so hi...I'm...idk...a different kind of girl, I guess. I'd be happy to tell my story maybe another time..it's interesting I guess. Here's a quick intro, I guess:
I was two when my baby sister either died or was murdered while I was in the apartment..can't really remember much, but everyone wants me to.
I was a DJ for a long time.
Lived in a very haunted house where a little boy died. I met him beforehand. My Grandma was terrified of the ghost. So was I.
I've traveled to many haunted locations, had many experiences.
Gave up on ghosts after some life-altering experiences following a visit to Waverly Hills..finding my need to know coming back now.
Is that enough for now?? Here's what I'm looking for:
The rumor was that a man lost his job, came home and killed his entire family..I wanna say in the 70's...maybe 60's. The house was supposedly left as-is/was, old magazines, old furniture, blood, etc. It sat close to a house of an old lady who lived by herself and watched over the property. She would call the cops on any trespassers. She had horses, and they wouldn't go past a certain point that brought them closer to the "haunted" house. My bf at the time took me there. It was really eerie, even in the day time. We made plans to go inside one night, had a whole thing worked up to get in and stay out of trouble. It was just a few weeks later and a few days before we planned to go that I wanted to drive by it again, just to see it, but it wasn't there anymore, and there was lingering smoke smoldering. We went back into town and asked around. Someone told my friend (who had lived in Rushville his whole life) that it burned down just the night before. We thought maybe the lady next door did it. I was crushed. I want to find the truth behind this house. Does anyone know what house I'm referring to?? Kids supposedly broke in all the time. But every time I try to search for it, I only end up finding stuff on this other one (known as "The Twins House" "The KKK house" "The Evans House" as it was owned by the Evans family and is actually not haunted), which I had seen in person may more times, never even got the slightest weird vibe from this one. The one I'm looking for tho... awful awful vibes. Please tell me someone knows it!!!
