There are three possib le locations for Spooklight Hill. I have checked two of them and not seen it. Looking at it now and given what the phenomenon really is, the most likely location is East of 59 on 1500 (Coal Bluff Rd.) which is the one I haven't checked. What is Spooklight Hill? The backstory involves the accidental decapitation of a young lady by falling off her buggy in the 1800's. The head was never recovered and her father endlessly searches. To this day you can still witness his lantern shining in the distance. Here is a link for more information. Wikipedia article

I've always wondered about the similarities between this story and the legend of Moody's Lane.

In a small farming community near Diamond on State Road 362, between Rosedale and Brazil, is an area called "Spook Light Hill" the story behind the name... Haunted Hoosier Trails by Wanda Lou Willis. She is not a good mapper.

Im having trouble with your map. Do you have coordinates? It doesn't help that Yahoo and Google cant agree what county Coal Bluff Rd. is in. Ergo whether it is 1500N in Clay County (Yahoo) or 1100S in Parke County (Google). The problem with pinpointing a location like this is there isn't a visual clue to look for (gravestones, a bridge etc.) and one again given that it is a natural phenomenon it occurs in many different locations.
