Hello all,
My name is Tommy Nilsson, and I am completely new to Paranormal Investigating. I have never "officially" participated in an investigation however, I've had experiences with the paranormal in the past which has now sparked an interest. I'm wondering if there are any groups operating around the Greenwood area or even as far south as Edinburgh/Camp Atterbury.
I (and possibly the wife if I can convince her ) am really interested in tagging along on an investigation or hunt to see what it's like and to possibly pursue this interest further. I currently have a Digital audio recorder as well as a hand held HD camcorder with IR nightvision capabilities.
Any tips or recommendations?

Hello Tommy and welcome! I'm actually in Greenwood, and have wanted to go to Atterbury for an investigation, but I sprained my ankle awhile back and it still hasn't healed. I'd be more than happy to have you along on a hunt the next time I go. It may even be something as simple as a cemetery (those work well for training purposes)

That sounds great! Like I said I'm interested in getting started with paranormal investigations. I've been looking for groups around here but it seems like they're either north or south of here lol. Do you usually just operate by yourself, or do you have a group you belong to?
A cemetery does sound like a great place to start!

Well, I'm part of Indiana Ghost Hunters, but we actually have people kind of all over really. I'm based out of Greenwood and have a small group of people, but if we can ever find a place that's TRULY worth it, we could all gather together to investigate. I'd be more than happy to take you out with my group to kind of get you started. If you'd like to pm me and let me konw kind of what your schedule is I'd be happy to work with you.
